As I was perusing Pinterest the other day, I came across an AWESOME home remedy for pinkeye (aka conjunctivitis). I can't tell you how many times I missed days of work in the past because my kids had pinkeye. We all know that one kid can't get pinkeye, it spreads around the house like wildfire. So, you can imagine my excitement when I found this home remedy. Not only does it save money, it saves time and a trip to the doctor. This is something all moms should have in their back pocket because it is inevitable that your child will get pinkeye at some point or another, so share with your friends!

What is a Virtual Assistant?
You may have noticed more people using the
term “Virtual Assistant.” The term has been around for years but, just
recently, it has been used more in the business world. This is due to
businesses becoming virtual and trying to cut overhead costs. So, what exactly is a Virtual Assistant? A VA is a self-employed professional
assistant that works from their home office. At first glance, many people assume
that the only difference between a VA and a regular employee is the fact that
the VA is self-employed. However, they are missing out on the numerous benefits
a VA could provide to their business.
In today’s economy, every business is trying
to find ways to cut costs and save time. However, what most business owners
don’t know is that one of the biggest money and time savers is having a VA.
When you have a VA it takes away all the headaches of having an in-house
employee and allows you to delegate everyday tasks to give you more time to
focus on your business. Some of the notable benefits to having a VA are:
-
You only pay
the VA for the time spent on a project.
-
You pay a VA
for 100% productive work, no down time.
-
There are no
expenses for medical, dental or vision benefits, 401k, or retirement plans.
-
The VA is
self-employed which eliminates the responsibility of taxes and insurances
associated with having employees.
-
No extra
costs of equipment, supplies or training.
-
You can hire
your VA as needed.
-
A VA has extended
office hours.
-
There are no
overhead costs.
As you can see, the amount of
money that can be saved is astounding. There are no hidden fees or costs
associated with hiring a VA, what you see is what you get. Not to mention, the
money saved on overhead costs allows business owners to invest those funds in
new strategies to GROW their company. So, the next time you hear the term “Virtual
Assistant,” think about how your company could benefit from hiring a VA. Then,
hire a VA and start cutting costs!!
